The mission of the American Business Women's Association is to bring together business women of all levels and occupations an opportunity to assist in personal and professional growth, through leadership, education, networking support and national recognition.

OTHER BENEFITS....

Networking occurs on a large scale throughout the Houston area. Membership in WINGS Chapter entitles you to group membership using the Houston Area Council of ABWA (H.A.C.A.) consisting of more than 25 area chapters with an aggregate membership of one-thousand members.

Membership in WINGS Chapter also entitles you to group membership in the Federation of Houston Professional Women (FHPW) consisting of over (70) professional women's organizations with an aggregate membership of more than 7,000 members.

Both organizations meet quarterly in January, April & October of each year.


WHAT ELSE SHOULD I KNOW?

ABWA was founded on the premise that education is the TOP PRIORITY and NECESSARY for women to reach their personal and career goals. ABWA provides business training and educational seminars that can assist members in developing specific skills at all levels across the board. Members gain practical, real experiences and business skills that become a direct use in a professional environment.


CAN YOU SEE YOURSELF?

Join us on the second Thursday of each month at the Four Points by Sheraton Memorial City. Advance reservations are preferred and appreciated on the Monday preceeding the meeting via hospitality@abwawings.org.

The initial fee to join ABWA is $90. Membership includes a subscription to "Women in Business" literature.

WINGS Chapter dues are $2.00 per month ($24 a year) and the fiscal year is from August 1st through July 31st.
